Frequently Asked Questions

Will the race be timed?

In past years, the race was timed using tag pull timing, however we have decided to forgo official timing this year and in future years.  We will have a large digital clock at the finish line, but find that most runners will track their own time using their personal apps and devices.

What is included in my registration fee?

Your race entry fee includes:

– timing by Timberline Events
– 1 Free ticket to the Pancake Breakfast
– race t-shirt (NOTE: t-shirts are first come, first served, so register early!)
– water + snacks
– free swag provided by local businesses and sponsors

Is this a dog friendly event?

Yes, your dog is a welcome addition to the race.  Please keep your dog on a leash at all times, and of course, please clean up after your pet. Since this is a public park dogs are welcome but please be thoughtful regarding your dogs’ ability to socialize with large amounts of people.  We will not have water set up for dogs at our water stations so please supply your own dog water.

My home is on the race route, what do I need to know?

The race will last a little over an hour starting from Arrowhead Park.  Please look at our best guess of when the runners will be on your road.  Please note all times are estimated since all levels or runners/walkers will be participating in the race.

Parmalee Gulch Road will be closed down to one lane from 8:00-8:25

Kiowa Rd. to Otowi  8:05-8:25

Otowi to Navajo  8:10-8:35

If to live on or off of these streets we ask that you are considerate of our participants.  Also, if you live on the route, we would love decorations and lots of cheering for the runners and walkers as they come by!
