Frequently Asked Questions

How does the Virtual Race work?

If you’d like to participate in the race and support the Indian Hills Fire & Rescue, but you do not feel comfortable joining in person due to COVID precautions, you may still join the official race roster by registering as a virtual runner!  You will receive a bib and t-shirt with a virtual sign-up, however you will not receive a ticket to the pancake breakfast.

I signed up for the Virtual Race, but I changed my mind...

If you’d like to participate in the race in person but you’ve already purchased a Virtual registration fee, no worries – you are welcome to show up on race day and join us!  Either shoot us an email at info@indianhillsfunrun.com, or come to the registration booth on race day morning to let us know you are present.

I signed up for the Race last year, but then it was cancelled. Can I roll my registration into this year?

Yes!!

If you’d like to roll your 2020 registration into 2021, please send us an email at info@indianhillsfunrun.com.

Will the race be timed?

In past years, the race was timed using tag pull timing through Timberline Events.  However, due to the fact that local businesses are struggling through recent economic difficulties, we have scaled back race costs, which mean we must forgo official timing for 2021.  We hope to conduct unofficial testing this year in hopes of finding a permanent timing solution.

What is included in my registration fee?

Your race entry fee includes:

– timing by Timberline Events
– 1 Free ticket to the Pancake Breakfast (Note: The Pancake Breakfast is not 100% confirmed, however we are doing all we can to work out all of the details in order to keep this part of the event safe for everyone.)
– race t-shirt (NOTE: t-shirts are first come, first served, so register early!)
– water + snacks
– free swag provided by local businesses and sponsors

Is this a dog friendly event?

Yes, your dog is a welcome addition to the race.  Please keep your dog on a leash at all times, and of course, please clean up after your pet. Since this is a public park dogs are welcome but please be thoughtful regarding your dogs’ ability to socialize with large amounts of people.  We will not have water set up for dogs at our water stations so please supply your own dog water.

My home is on the race route, what do I need to know?
